• more partizan! just finished episode 26. starting off strong and leaving this fallow otherwise lol
• i forgot i listened to annie lennox! specifically the album 'bare'. i have very strong memories of listening to a cd of that on a boombox in my room as a kid.

reading

• non-fanfic first: I grew up in a culture that embraced physical touch. Then I came to America (Mihret Sibhat): interesting piece about how western views on sexuality have really gotten their grubby lil mitts in everywhere
• newest chapter of panting like a dog at the edge of your bed (bloodletter): (hello dreamwidth user rigormorphis in acknowledgements again), mind the tags etc but i love this fic.
• deadfall trap (brawlite): very charming modern cultivator/spy type shit au!
• in the blood tide: mind those goddamn tags!!!

watching

• fallow actually. i guess some of my mom's tv show over her shoulder?? it's like. french csi. 'profilage'. it is the tv equivalent of packing peanuts to me.
• youtube tutorial for russian bind-off i guess?
• oh i watched the newest cold ones drinking too much alcohol video.

• i redownloaded wizard101...watched @delta-orionis play rain world for a few minutes and now i want to get rain world.............

• as promised, photo of scarf for boyfriend!

  

• i haven't started a new project yet but i'd like to take back some of my yarn from home...cleaning out the stash...so i'm trawling ravelry pensively tonight
• i'd like to do english paper piercing to make a new dice bag and hand-quilt a little magic the gathering play mat :3

• experimental new section.
• TACOS. good ass tacos tonight. and my boyf made japanese curry using popeyes as the chicken to go on top and ngl it slammed. new york diner sandwich on saturday.

• saw the BIG DUCK on eastern long island. big thumbs up from me.

• dungeon meshi! i read so much yesterday. i'm up to volume 5 (ch 34). it's good. im obsessed with marcille. failgirl of all time. complete monster <3

• i reactivated my wizard101 membership...so boy oh boy i've been wizarding. it's why watching is fallow this week. trying to speedlevel my main up to max, she's up to 78 now and i'm hoping to slam through avalon pretty fast.

• similarly, all ive made is wizard101 fanart LOL. my shitty children.

• got more diner food...a ny pizza slice...got some good bagel this morning before leaving (though it was half ruined by uh. mom discourse. it's fine)

misc

• we almost made it a whole two weeks without getting into an argument with my mom.....literally on the drive to the airport something popped off and now i am stressed and sad :") like it's. fine. it will be fine there will not be any lingering angst about it. i just wish this didn't keep happening. my flight back to my apartment is in one hour so i just gotta make it there and then i can collapse. and see my cat !!! i am so excited to see my little girl.
