7 - 20: went on vacation but we're so back

making	more closed form jars...idk i'm not feeling these specific ones so no pics :\ i've had an old dress forever and ever that i haven't been able to wear because the elastic sewn into the back was all stretched out so i finally finished picking out all the old busted elastic and sewed some scrap fabric on in channels to thread new elastic through. i need more elastic BUT it's wearable again! yay! rem pillow sewing project! i will never ever play deadlock but those characters were made in a lab to appeal to me specifically. just a normal star but i'm doing it with cute night sky themed fabrics to channel the pillow that that lil goblin guy carries finishing up a market bag crochet project for friend, pics next week working on typesetting blindsight for printing out....baby's first bookbinding project :eyes:
eating	kani salad pickled some radish greens made maangchi's japchae, yum GREAT sourdough loaf success. however it's a little flat on top because i don't have a dutch oven so i put a baking tray over the top of the loaf as directed for the first bit of baking and it. well. did continue to rise. and just pressed up against the baking tray lol. but it's delicious so i'm happy
misc	took a 10 day vacation in seattle that overlapped with the first two tuesdays of july! but we're back and better than ever, i had a wonderful time :3

watching	watched obsession last night with a friend; it was good! i see why it got such rave reviews. i had a lot of sympathy for the main character for a while, like none of that was his fault and he really didn't do anything 'wrong' until he started hitting the point where it was clear that something was Very wrong and he just sort of [whistles, looks the other direction]. i think i spent the last 20 min or so just chanting "You Have To Kill Yourself Now" at the tv a lot of marc insco on youtube as background noise. thanks marc

making	butter dish for my mom! it's So large rn so i am just chanting "things will shrink" over and over. jewelry!! beading again!!! strung up an old broken bracelet to be a necklace, some earrings, also started stringing up my cobalt blue seed beeds into strands to make a multi-string necklace...if anyone wants free jewelry please lmk bc i am going to be making more than i can feasibly own putting together a collage of my family's dog to turn into a jigsaw puzzle as a gift for my brother's birthday, will post it when it's more complete
eating	made the pepper steak stir fry again, with my normal edits (added garlic..added mushroom...added bok choy...)
misc	i finally recieved TWO!!! postcrossing cards!!!! what a rush
