watching	finished Bocchi the rock, extremely charming, sparked joy. I've been rewatching hbomberguy video essays because they are reliable and good to have on in the background
playing	a little more hadesgame, Thinking about disco elysium and w101 but I haven't actually done it
making	I did do some embroidery! unfortunately I was. Very optimistic about how much I would get done over break. I brought it home with me with the intention that I could mail it from here but I am going to definitely have to bring it back with me lol
delights	walking around: kinda minor still, mostly just walking the dog fellowship: part of why I am Very tired is because I have completely filled my schedule with seeing friends :") so I have really had no time to myself at all which is kinda overwhelming. but it's been really good to see everybody! I just wish I had a little more time to fit everything in and not feel so crammed deliciousness: did a christmas day brunch at ceruleanvulpine's, super delicious spread with eggs, french toast, bagels, sausage, little cookies...dinner at the bf's place after, lamb and kebab and pesto pasta and just kind of a fun mishmash of different style foods...indian food at a friend's place new years eve...and then new years day brunch yesterday with cold cuts and I made my favorite orzo salad. reading	wikipedia articles, specifically bouncing around from puyi (last emperor of china) as a starting point, what a fuckwild period of history
watching	nothing but i want to start white lotus tonight :eyes:
playing	my partner got me nier: automata for switch as a holiday gift so i started playing that and i am SO bad at video games goddamn but i want to get the story so i'm looking forward to getting more into that!
making	nothing this week beyond working on quantumshawl snzzz
misc	i havent the past 2 weeks because of Busy but ill tuesdaypost today and maybe return to shabbosposting this weekend..we’ll see…gonna put a Hold on the delights for now though and replace with general wildcard Update Section BONUS: no longer doing what delights have i experienced, instead just miscellaneous stuff that i think deserves mentioning (walking around, exercise, hangouts, special food...) before coming back to school i spent a day in NYC with my mom and we had mediterranean-style food at a cafe that was SO good, ive never had such good tomato soup and falafel. 10/10. (it's called bite and it's on west 22nd and 6th ave if people are interested) we went on a nice lil stroll and ended up at a sculpture and adjacent-art supply store which was super super cool pics from art supply store, from least to Most cursed: im also counting my workout efforts as walking around. im gonna get so buff. muscles that i didn't even know existed are sore. the bf stayed with me for a week which was so nice. he made kimchi soup and it is so healing, and he made gyudon twice...he cooked dinner a lot now that im thinking about it oops. he also drank an entire gallon of milk and ate two dozen eggs while he was here. egg boy (affectionate) start of the semester overall going well though. fingers crossed it keeps being good :)

1 - 24: chewsday innit
listening	a lot of my classical music playlists from undergrad orchestra...i miss ensembles...maybe next semester ill try out for the campus orchestra...anyways been crunching on scheherazade, rachmaninoff paganini, and khachaturian ive also been enjoying some klezmer music, and this post of the georgian trio sisters got me listening to their overall stuff on spotify and it goes pretty hard (fun tashlach burning bush, trio mandili the anthem of our campaigns)
reading	i started re-reading the murderbot series! it has been a while and i definitely sped through them my first time around so i could benefit from a closer reading this time to keep track of all the characters :b
watching	some fashion history! abby cox The Disappointing Truth On Why We Don't Wear Hats Anymore, Flappers, Y2K, & Capitalism are Why Women "Don't" Have Pockets also watched this week: safiya nygaard's most recent vids (where they visit every hotel on the vegas strip), mina le's video on modern design and greige, and tiffanyferg on body trends. the fashion history ones are more fun tho i haven't watched a lot of abby cox but i really like her vibe
playing	m i n e c r a f t. friend set up a modded minecraft server and i went HAM this weekend. will hopefully play during snow day tomorrow too. it uses rougelike adventures & dungeons 2 and so far i'm really enjoying it! definitely less buggy than the original RAD which we used last year
making	more quantumshawl as per usual. definitely nearing the end on it
misc	winter starm warning.......will probably still have class/work tmrw but maybe can do from home being cozy...... caught up w some old friends ... have a well established gym schedule now and it feels good ... no hw due this week so it can be a bit of a catchup time ... research still broken but it's gonna get there i know it ... met w a prof about adding a physical lab component ... theoretically getting dinner with some friends tomorrow for a birthday but we'll see re: snow ... hell yeah

listening	listening to more orch music...been lifting weights at the gym to rachmaninoff which feels like a power move for some reason. anyways been listening to more horn concertos/solos as well because i wanna get In The Mood to Play. i miss her (my horn). i want to restart a normal practice schedule so that i can more confidently try out for the school or community orchestra come fall. (also the guy in the first song below plays with his FEET he's SO COOL); romance for horn and piano in f major op 36 moderato, saint-saens (felix klieser), horn concertino in e minor, op 45, j 188 adagio - andante (vaclav neumann)
reading	~nothing~ ok not quite true i've been reading a few academic papers. trying to get an idea of how to integrate the fracture geometry prof's work into mine ... my advisor said something about fault lines but in the layers-of-the-earth sense not a Big Fault Line along the tectonic plates so i'm working on piecing that together mentally.
watching	some more abby cox, and also the montery bay aquarium's Two Hour Lofi over Shrimp type videos lol 2 hours of jellyfish to relax/study to, a fashion historian explains the handbag abby cox
playing	a lil minecraft ... not that much tho :v probably more tonight or tomorrow, basically whenever i finish my quantum hw
making	THE QUANTUM SHAWL IS COMPLETE!!! gotta upload these pics to my ravelry still but :D im wearing it to class today gotta see if the prof clocks it as The Thing I've Been Doing In His Class Since October i also made some yummy salmon......i had to freeze about half of it because for some reason i thought it would be wise to buy Two and a Half Pounds of Salmon so i froze half and then cooked the rest over the weekend with a mustard dill sauce. yumb. pivoting crafts now though to finally finish up that embroidery project that is uhhh over a year in the making and a gift for a friend. it's so close to being done. i need to fucking finish it.
misc	had a brain blast and did sooo much of my quantum hw this weekend which is. wild. maybe im not braindead. uhhh what else, i had to gently slide into a conversation that im in a relationship because i was getting a Vibe and i did Not want to give any impressions that i was interested in him and apparently that might have been the case. oops. sorry bro :\. relatedly i'm putting together a little valentines day care package for my partner including the Fish Fear Me shirt that i just purchased and hopefully will arrive by the end of the week. i also got myself one of their wizard designs because they're soooo good i think im gonna send lil valentines things to a bunch of my friends though, even if its just a cute lil card and some stickers.
